The Arthur J. Turner Jr. Scholarship Foundation was created by the parents of Arthur J. Turner Jr., a former St. Elizabeth & Brandywine High School student-athlete who excelled both athletically and academically. At the age of 17, Arthur Jr. was unfortunately stricken with Osteogenic Sarcoma, one of the leading cancers among children under age 15.

The Turner Family did not allow Arthur's life and love for sports to end with his passing. They decided to provide disadvantaged youth with educational opportunities and to promote healthy lifestyles through the Arthur J. Turner Jr. Scholarship Fund by hosting an annual 5K Walk/Race for Delaware’s local runners, community youth, small businesses and corporations.

We would like to invite you, individuals and business partners, to consider sponsoring our youth through education by making a monetary donation or participating in one of our many events throughout the year. A big THANK YOU to our 2010 Sponsors!

Sincerely,
